What is it with this world clock? Why do you need a trading clock? You have clocks all around you. But you need one right in front of your face up in the main screen from where you trade. Time of day is everything in trading.
There is no more "bell to bell trading!"
In 2014 trading is a 24 hour operation in over 25 commodities, options, stock indexes, Metals, interest rate derivatives and currency futures: COSMIC. There are specific times of day to trade each of those 25 entities. Certain traders still swing trade; however, there is such volatility in the financial markets of today that large swings in price consume large quantities of margin.
The wise trader, who really wants to excel in trading, trades with a team of trading specialists investing their time in their special interests, where they KNOW how the instruments behave.
But these same people know there are gains to be made in all most futures most every day. Therefore, savvy traders team up and specialize but share in the total gains with their team mates.
Instrument behavior is prime ingredient for choosing it for trading. You do not want to trade an instrument who behaves like the unruly child whose mother is trying to control it in a cafe.
There is "best" time of day to trade each futures interment and there about six 2-hour segments to divide up the action. I share more about the details in my free course.
