While our courses do require tuition, we do not need the tuition to line our pockets with riches to benefit an improved lifestyle for ourselves.  The tuition is designed to create a "worthwhile" attitude within our students.  Free stuff holds little value to far too many folks.  If you don't have to pay for it, it must not be worth much. We don't need your tuition to enhance our lifestyles because we trade to earn funds to make our lives better.  Your tuition goes toward "school supplies" just like some elementary school teachers spend money from their own pocket so the students in their classes may benefit from a better experience, simply because the "free" education the Government provides does not generally cut it!
